Ankita Shashikant Bhosale, BDS, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Before joining the faculty in 2025, she served as Program Coordinator at the school’s Center for Integrative Global Oral Health (CIGOH), where she contributed to projects on evidence synthesis, global oral health policy, and educational initiatives.

Dr. Bhosale’s research draws on her multidisciplinary background in oral health, public health, and data analytics to advance evidence-informed practices in oral health. Her interests include the intersection of population and public health in oral health policy, guideline development, and the implementation of living evidence syntheses for real-world impact.

She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and contributed to global convenings, including Global Oral Health Forums and a conference in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) African Region exploring strategies to promote oral health. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth in India and her Master of Public Health from the University of New Haven.
