Howard M. Julien, MD, MPH is a board certified internist and non-invasive cardiologist practicing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. He specializes in nuclear cardiac imaging and his research is focused on identifying healthcare disparities and adverse outcomes in historically disadvantaged populations. He serves the Perelman School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine as the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine’s Vice-Chief of Diversity Inclusion and Health Equity where he has advanced work-force inclusion through expansion of outreach and recruitment efforts to women and underrepresented persons in medicine.
