Hyunmin (David) Yu, PhD, RN, AGACNP-BC, is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at Penn Nursing. His research focuses on understanding how organizational structures and workforce models influence patient outcomes, clinician well-being, and healthcare system performance. He is particularly interested in the role of advanced practice providers and the impact of inclusive workplace environments on workforce sustainability. His work aims to generate evidence to inform organizational strategies that advance health equity, care quality, and workforce resilience in healthcare settings. He earned his PhD in Nursing and MSN in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Penn Nursing. Dr. Yu has experience working as a nurse in intensive care units in both Korea and the United States and currently serves as a nurse practitioner at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
