Khalid Alkhatib, MD, MMSc

Khalid Y. Alkhatib, MD, MMSc is a Clinical Research Fellow at Penn Urology. Dr. Alkhatib is interested in urological oncology and men’s health after cancer. His research interests include the long-term side effect of cancer treatment, survivorship, the economic intact of cancer, sociodemographic disparities, and surgical urological outcomes in different health system settings.

Dr. Alkhatib completed his medical education at the National University of Ireland (NUI), the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and the Medical University of Bahrain (MUB).

Dr. Alkhatib holds a Master’s degree of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical School. While at Harvard, he completed a two-year health services research fellowship at the Urology Division and Center for Surgery and Public Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
