Polina Krass, MD, MSHP is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine attending physician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and an Instructor in Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania. She also serves as a research scholar in the Center for Violence Prevention and as a faculty member at PolicyLab. She is a cofounder of the Adolescent Protection Collaborative, a novel clinic for youth victims of trafficking at CHOP.
Dr. Krass is interested in pediatric suicide prevention in acute care settings and the impact of mental health policy on adolescent health outcomes. Her recent research has focused on access to confidential care through the Title X program, insurance coverage of pediatric mental health care, and pediatric utilization of emergency mental health services.
Dr. Krass completed her medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine and her MS in Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her pediatrics residency training at CHOP and was a National Clinician Scholar at Penn between 2016 and 2018.
