Priyanka Joshi, MD, MSHP is an attending physician in the Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a health services researcher at PolicyLab, and an Instructor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Joshi’s research aims to advance health equity for underserved children by improving acute care delivery, care transitions, and data quality in pediatric health systems. Her work spans pediatric mental health, food access, and the reliability of race and ethnicity data, with a focus on designing interventions and informing equitable policy.

Joshi received her MD with honors from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) from the University of Pennsylvania as a Critical Care Health Policy T32 scholar. She completed residency training in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at CHOP.
