Rachael Acker, MD is a PGY-4 general surgery resident at Penn. Her research interests lie at the intersection of health services research and surgical education. She is specifically interested in improving our current methods of assessment and evaluation within graduate medical education to train competent surgeons who are ready for independent practice and to care for a diverse patient population.
