Stephen Bonett, PhD, RN

Stephen Bonett, PhD, RN is a public health nurse researcher and an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Department of Family and Community Health at Penn Nursing.

His research is focused on identifying and addressing structural barriers to public health service delivery through community-partnered research that employs implementation science methods within a health equity framework. As a nurse clinician scientist, he aims to connect people to health and social resources through academic-clinical-community partnerships. 

Dr. Bonett received his PhD in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation, a Jonas Nursing Scholar, and a Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Fellow. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Arts in Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
