In February 2025, LDI Senior Fellow George Dalembert, MD, MSHP testified in front of the House Democratic Policy Committee at a hearing focused on elevated lead levels in PA school buildings. Dr. Dalembert’s testimony spoke to the impact of lead poisoning on children from his vantage as a pediatrician, researcher, and concerned citizen, highlighting the need for prevention, rather than simply testing, of lead poisoning.
