Luisa Fernandez

Luisa Fernandez is a Policy Coordinator at Penn LDI. Prior to joining LDI, she worked as a Student Advisor at Freie Universität’s Berlin European Studies Program in Germany. In the past, her research has focused on improving the quality of care for adults with severe obesity in nursing homes and examining the impact of the built environment on community mental and social health. She has completed research internships at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh and Penn Sustainability in Philadelphia. She holds a BA in Earth Science from the University of Pennsylvania with minors in Chemistry and German.
