Brian VanderBeek, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. VanderBeek received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati after obtaining a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health. He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical School prior to his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center. After joining the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. VanderBeek continued his education, obtaining a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology through the school’s Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
