Canada Montgomery

Canada Montgomery is a combined MD/MSHP student at the Perelman School of Medicine. In medical school, Montgomery became heavily involved in community outreach initiatives, allowing her to pursue her interest in community engagement and health advocacy while gaining interest in understanding the disparities facing marginalized populations that lead to health inequities. She is interested in studying health care and health disparities in the context of neurosurgical patient outcomes with a quality improvement lens. Similarly, she hopes to focus on neurotrauma and concussion prevention in the pediatric population via community-based care and health advocacy initiatives.
