Catherine (Katie) Auriemma, MD, MS is a fellow in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and a Department of Medicine Measey Physician-Scientist Fellow. Her work focuses in improving the value of adult critical care medicine by better aligning medical care with the values and preferences of patients and their families. Her work has been featured in JAMA Internal Medicine, JAMA Network Open, Intensive Care Medicine, and The American Journal of Critical Care.
Dr. Auriemma attended Brown University, where she studied Biology. She received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she subsequently served as Chief Resident at Moffitt-Long Hospital. She received her Master’s degree in Health Policy Research at Penn.
