Cedric Bien-Gund, MD

Cedric Bien-Gund, MD is an Instructor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases in underserved populations. His research interests include prevention and management of HIV, and more recently, in expanding access to COVID-19 testing services.

Dr. Bien-Gund received his MD from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He also completed a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, and a residency in Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. He is currently enrolled in the Master’s of Science in Clinical Epidemiology program.
