Dilara Hatipoglu, MD is a gastroenterology and hepatology fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a clinical research fellow currently obtaining her Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology through the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her research focus is on the intersection of obesity medicine and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD), with an emphasis on provider decision-making and outcomes research. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. She received a BA in Economics with a minor in health care management from Washington University in St. Louis.
