Erin Sieke, MD, MS is a fellow in the Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at CHOP. Dr. Sieke’s areas of interest include adolescent reproductive health, focusing on how we can improve access to evidence-based reproductive health care for teens through the use of the pediatric emergency department. During her residency and chief residency, Dr. Sieke worked to implement and measure an intervention to increase access to long-acting reversible contraceptive training for pediatric residents. Dr. Sieke is interested in studying how local, state, and federal policies influence the availability of reproductive health care to pediatric and adolescent patients in order to make advances in accessibility for vulnerable patient populations.
Dr. Sieke spent a year at CHOP developing skills in clinical research and quality improvement in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. She then received her medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Science in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Sieke completed her pediatric residency training and chief residency at CHOP.
