Esha Khurana, MD, MPH is a psychiatrist and public health researcher in the integrated care setting, working to meet the mental health needs of medically complex patients. She has clinical interest and expertise in post traumatic stress disorders, palliative care, women’s mental health, as well as global and community psychiatry. Her research encompasses ethical and practical questions of how to best allocate funding to reduce the burden of mental and physical suffering in the global setting, including aspects of implementation science, cost effectiveness, behavioral economics, and effective altruism.
