Jadry Gruen, MD is a clinical cardiology fellow at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a student in the Master’s Program of Health Policy Research with a concentration in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety. She leads the Cardiology Fellowship Quality Improvement curriculum and takes an active role in fellow-led process improvement initiatives. Dr. Gruen’s research focuses on the delivery and implementation of palliative care in patients with advanced cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Gruen received her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2017. She completed her internal medical training at Yale School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident for Quality and Safety and won the National Center for Patient Safety Award for Quality Improvement Project for her work expanding palliative care services for veterans admitted with heart failure.
