Lillian Buchhalter, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine and works clinically in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her research interests are in health equity, ethics, quality, and burnout. She currently is working to improve the care of children during the pre-hospital to hospital continuum, with a special interest in equitable and effective care for children with seizures.
Dr. Buchhalter earned her Master’s of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology with a Certificate in Global Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her medical training at Mayo Medical School and her pediatrics residency at the Boston Combined Residency in Pediatrics (Urban Health and Advocacy Track).
