MaryAnne (Marty) Peifer, MD, MSIS

MaryAnne (Marty) Peifer, MD, MSIS is an Associate Professor of Clinical Family Medicine and Community Health. Dr. Peifer’s research interests focus on improving systems of care for all populations. Board certified in both Family Medicine and in Clinical Informatics, she has been integral in developing and expanding population-based care by leveraging data from various sources for performance tracking, population identification, registry development, point-of-care decision support, and outreach. Dr. Piefer also has a clinical practice at Penn Family Medicine University City and teaches at Penn’s Family Medicine Residency Program.
