Nicolas Muñoz, MD is a general surgeon currently in the National Clinician Scholars Program at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is studying health inequities along the pathways of care for patients with liver disease needing liver transplants. In particular, he is interested in referral pathways to transplant, equity in transplant oncology, and organ donation/allocation.
