Nicolas Muñoz, MD is a general surgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania. He is studying health inequities along the pathways of care for patients with liver disease needing liver transplants. In particular, he is interested in referral pathways to transplant, equity in transplant access, and increasing access to organs by using machine perfusion technologies.
