Sunny Rai, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Rai investigates sociolinguistic variations in human language and builds culturally aligned AI models to enable fair and inclusive AI solutions for health applications. Her areas of expertise are Natural Language Processing and Computational Social Science. She has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Delhi in Delhi, India.
