Taras Grosh, MD

Taras Grosh, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Penn with subspecialty training in regional anesthesiology and chronic pain. His academic interest is in regional anesthesia impacts on recovery after surgery as well as global health equity. His work to date has focused on how regional anesthesia impacts postoperative outcomes. He is Co-chair of the Penn Presbyterian Clinical Effectiveness Committee and is working on improving patient experience. Additionally, Dr. Grosh is the social media coordinator for the Department of Anesthesiology. He received his medical degree from St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his anesthesiology residency and chronic pain fellowship at Tufts University – Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Grosh joined the faculty in 2017.
