The state of the current national health care economy as well as the half-century of history in which the Leonard Davis Institute has been a leading center of research in that field is the subject of a large feature in the July issue of The Pennsylvania Gazette, the alumni magazine of the University of Pennsylvania.

The article focuses on the current and three of the former executive directors of LDI and their perspective on both the evolution of the health care industry since the 1960s transformative launch of Medicare and Medicaid and the rise of the modern health services research field in which the Institute helped to pioneer.
