Julia Hinckley, JD is Director of Policy Strategy. Julia has extensive experience working in federal, state, and local government designing and implementing policies and programs to improve health and economic wellbeing. Julia most recently served as Policy Director for the Mayor of Philadelphia where she worked to advance policy priorities in the nation’s sixth largest city including a safer and more just Philadelphia, health equity, and an inclusive economy. Julia previously served in the Obama administration at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, focused on Medicaid policy during implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Before her federal service, she served in several leadership roles at the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. Julia received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a law degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.
