About the Symposium

The 2021 Penn LDI Summer Undergraduate Minority Research Scholar Program will culminate in a five-day virtual SUMR Symposium, August 16-20, 2021. The virtual event is open to the public and will livestream on Zoom.

The symposium spotlights the participating students and their faculty mentors, and will feature presentations by the SUMR scholars about their mentor-directed research work. The symposium closes the 22nd Annual SUMR Program that engaged 31 students with the Penn’s health services research community.
