Polina Krass, MD, MSHP is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She also serves as a research scholar in the Center for Violence Prevention and as an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab. She is a cofounder of the Adolescent Protection Collaborative, a novel clinic for youth victims of trafficking at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Krass is interested in the impact of legislative policy on adolescent health outcomes. Her recent research has focused on access to contraception through the Title X program, insurance coverage of pediatric mental health care, and pediatric utilization of emergency mental health services.
Dr. Krass completed her medical degree at the New York University School of Medicine and her Master of Science in Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her pediatrics residency training at CHOP. She was a National Clinician Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania between 2016 and 2018.
