Andre Konski, MD, MBA is a Professor of Clinical Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine. He is interested in the use of models to predict cost-effectiveness of new health care interventions, specifically interventions involving radiation oncology. In addition, he has become interested in identifying health inequity using the concentration index. His practice career has spanned both the private and academic practice world. Dr. Konski graduated from New York Medical College and completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. He has obtained a MBA and a MA in Economics at the University of Toledo. While he has attended a number of ad hoc courses on Health Economics and modeling in the past, he has entered a distance learning program in Health Economics for Health Care Professionals at the prestigious University of York in York, England.
