Ernesto Ulloa-Pérez, PhD

Ernesto Ulloa-Pérez, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania, and is also a Center for Improving Care Delivery fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. Dr. Ulloa-Pérez's goal as a biostatistician is to perform research that empowers investigators and clinicians to enhance care delivery and improve health outcomes. His research focuses on causal inference, the use of electronic health record data, and health policy evaluation. Dr. Ulloa-Pérez is also passionate about science communication and is an active member of Mexicans in Statistics and Health, where he contributes to public outreach efforts. He earned his PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Washington and holds a ScB in Applied Mathematics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
