Aditi Vasan, MD, MSHP

Aditi Vasan (she/her), MD, MSHP is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and a pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Vasan is passionate about health equity, and her research is centered on improving the health and social service systems serving for children and families living in poverty. Her current work focuses on reducing administrative burdens to improve families’ access to government benefit programs, including WIC, SNAP, and Medicaid, and implementing and evaluating health system-based social interventions aimed at addressing families’ care coordination needs and unmet social needs.

Vasan received her MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and her Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed residency training in pediatrics at CHOP and fellowship training in the National Clinician Scholars Program at Penn.
