Aditi Vasan, MD, MSHP

Aditi Vasan (she/her), MD, MSHP is an Instructor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, a pediatric hospitalist in the Division of General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and a senior research fellow at the Penn Center for Community Health Workers. Dr. Vasan is passionate about health equity, and her research is centered on improving health outcomes for children and families living in poverty. Her current work focuses on supporting policies that reduce administrative burdens and improve families’ access to government benefit programs, and implementing and evaluating health system-based social interventions aimed at addressing families’ care coordination needs and unmet social needs.

Dr. Vasan received her MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and her Master of Science in Health Policy Research (MSHP) at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed residency training in Pediatrics at CHOP, where she also served as chief resident, followed by fellowship training at Penn through the National Clinician Scholars Program.
