Juan Pablo Atal, PhD is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on different aspects of health economics. He is currently studying the workings of long-term health insurance, the effects of financial incentives for acute and post-acute care, and the effect of quality regulations on the pharmaceutical market. Dr. Atal received his PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
