In March 2025, LDI Senior Fellow Sameed Khatana, MD, MPH briefed members of U.S. Representative GT Thompson’s staff on research exploring the link between SNAP and health. Dr. Khatana’s briefing included research on the impact of state-level variation in SNAP administration and the ways that specific policies have affected the health of participants.
