Ariel Kamen, RN has a background in hospital nursing and a deep passion for quality, safety, and infection prevention in hospitals. Her experience has provided insight into the role infection control plays in patient outcomes. She believes that creating a culture of quality and safety requires technical knowledge in epidemiology but also knowledge of how to promote behavior change. Kamen is an advocate for quality and safe approaches to disease prevention that have benefits at both patient and organizational levels. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Drexel University in 2021 and has worked as a cardiac telemetry and emergency room nurse at Pennsylvania Hospital.
