Kyra O’Brien, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. O’Brien’s research interests surround improving access to care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) and their care partners, with a focus on the primary care setting and evaluating the clinical utility and implementation of advances in Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics. Her clinical duties include evaluating patients for neurodegenerative cognitive disorders at the Penn Memory Center.
Dr. O’Brien received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship in internal medicine and neurology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and she completed her cognitive neurology fellowship at the Penn Memory Center.
