Kyra O’Brien, MD is a Clinical Fellow in Cognitive Neurology at the Penn Memory Center and at the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. O’Brien’s research interests surround improving access to care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) and their care partners, with a focus on the primary care setting.
Dr. O’Brien received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship in internal medicine and residency training in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is joining the Department of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania as a clinical instructor, where her clinical duties will include evaluating patients for neurodegenerative cognitive disorders at the Penn Memory Center.
