Tori Sutherland, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP).

Broadly, her work includes trials to improve patient safety and clinical effectiveness. She has experience with cost analysis and conducting clinical trials in low-income countries (LICs) in areas including maternal mortality reduction, antimicrobial resistance and interventions for appropriate oxygen therapy. Currently, her research interests focus on opioid-free anesthetics for children.
